This is my ever-changing “about me” page. You wouldn’t think basic stuff about me should change so much, but I am a scatter-brained, fickle person, I guess.

I love writing. That has never changed. I finished my first book in November of 2015, but it needs to be fully rewritten and I cannot motivate myself to start over right now. Soon. In the meantime, I’m working on another story. Something fresh.

I’m a violin teacher and also work at a library. I love the library and like teaching. This is one of the first times in my life that I’ve actually enjoyed my work, and that’s pretty exciting.

I’m married to a pretty funny guy who keeps me from going completely insane. I’m pretty sure that without him, I’d have quit blogging, quit writing, and moved back in with my mom by now. We had our first baby in January of 2015. He’s now a rambunctious toddler who is currently crawling on the sofa and giving me his “oh, mom, you’re not serious” look when I tell him not to jump up and down on it. He’s the best.

I lived in Colorado for 28 years, but recently moved to Las Vegas. It’s hotter here in summer, but 9 months out of the year are beautiful, and we’re surrounded by mountains, so it kind of feels like home.
